Today is day 2 driving our new Tesla Model X around town. I dropped the kids off at school and remarked about the clock in our car still being on California PST time even though we're near Raleigh, NC on EST time. I engaged Auto Pilot for the first time in this car. I stopped by the local police department to try to meet the person driving a really decked out Model S P100D. I drove over to Jordan Lake to get in some driving miles and look for bird pictures. I saw an Osprey Nest. I also took pictures in front of the Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant Cooling Tower. Don and I ran some errands, and he commented on the glass roof keeping us cool even on sunny days. Lots of fun stuff and some cool scenery in this video.
