Day 25 Tesla Ruby Gets a New Dashcam and Receives a Charging Error

Today was sortof an eclectic day with lots of different things going on.

Don removed the dashcam from my Honda Odyssey minivan and put it in Ruby because the dashcam we were using in Ruby failed. So now the DDPai-M6+ is in Ruby.

We have watched MANY dashcam reviews from Techmoan, and his all time favorite is the DDPai-M6+. If you are thinking about making a dashcam purchase, we strongly recommend investing the time to visit the Techmoan site and watch some of his reviews too.

I am not going to go into detail on the DDPai-M6+, but the main reasons we like it are:
- permanent mount to glass but magnet mount of camera to the camera/glass mount
- wi-fi connectivity from phone app
- very clear video

Techmoan also has a great video on how to remove dashcams from windshields. Basically, use dental floss.  This worked perfectly for Don today.

I was out shopping again:-)

Overnight, we had a charging error because I didn't plug the charger into the car enough. Oops.

We demonstrated how to use Amazon Echo to call between an Echo and a Dot in our house. This intercom type feature is new, and it is one that I think we will be using a lot. If you are a prime customer, you really need at the very least two Dots in your home. They are the more affordable option to get started with. Or, better yet, buy two Shows and save $100 during their introductory offer. It's so much fun if you can see the other person!

Don prepared the weekly metrics. Driving distance was down this week with the boys out of school. There won't be a normal schedule again until August.
