Don cleaned up Ruby this morning so that we could go to the Triangle Tesla Owners meet-up at the new Raleigh supercharger. We had a great time meeting at least 25 other Tesla owners. A few we had met before, and there were some mew great faces too.
Things I loved about the day. The eyes of a young boy when he saw the falcon wing open. The bewilderment of a grandmother whose grandson begged to come over and see the cars knowing what they were even though he was only 8 or so. The cuteness of the son of one of the other Tesla owners who watches our YouTube videos and especially loves the Rainbow Road segment. Another Tesla owner couple from Florence that watched our videos and knew to stop in today and charge up as well as meet everyone. Meeting the wife of another Tesla obsessed husband and having a super laugh of batteries:-) And many more. It was just a great event all around.
We charged to 100% today. Don wanted to balance the batteries.
