Johnny was asked to attend a birthday party in Smithfield, NC today at the Smithfield Recreation and Aquatic Center (SRAC). The facility has a pool and a splash pad all indoors. What a nice place! His friend Sean turned 7 and attends our TKD school. We arrived at 9am after a 45 minute drive and left around 1:15pm. Johnny had a great time especially trying to make it across the obstacle course in the pool.
When we got home, Don was setting up to work on the garage siding. He finished the hail damage repair today.
I cooked cube steak and mashed sweet potatoes for dinner.
I also took what has become the anual spinning Christmas tree photo of Johnny. Don spun the lights, and I made adjustments on the camera and took the pics. The amount of light in the room, exposure time 2.5-4 seconds, and the child's ability to stay still all effect the final picture.
