Don and I headed out to Southern Supreme Fruitcake today. It's in Bear Creek, NC which is sortof out in the middle of nowhere in west central, NC. They were quite busy. We enjoyed all the samples and left with quite the goody bag.
We had quite a few adventures along the way including a stop at House in the Horseshoe Historic Alston House where a 1781 Revolutionary War Battle between the Tories and Whigs took place. We also stopped at the Carbonton Dam, removed now, but the geologic center of NC. And finally a stop in Sanford at the train museum to play Pokemon and share some EV love.
