It was an uneventful and hot day here. To get out of the house and have something to do in the AC, Joey and I went to Ovation Cinema Grill (AMC Dine-In) in Holly Springs to see the movie Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. We went to see it after watching Miker at Lightrunn3r Studios review it in his VLOG yesterday. We thoroughly enjoyed it! It was an interesting mix of Avatar and Star Wars with a wonderful story and great CGI.
We also enjoyed our theater experience. It was my first time to a dine-in style cinema. Watching movies on recliners is the way to go! Just don't nap during the movie;-)
Joey talks a bit about Splatoon 2 for the Nintendo Switch. He's really enjoying it.
Sorry for the rainbow in the dashcam footage. I think the polarizing filter is going to have to go:-(
The station wagon parked near us at the cinema was a Ford Country Squire probably 1972. I bet it's this one!
In the evening, we had pizza and watched the 1982 Blade Runner movie. Joey wanted to watch it, and he wants to go see Blade Runner 2049. The original is so dark and rainy. Not a favorite for me but glad we watched it.
Don used our whole house energy monitor, TED, to look at the line voltage today. It was 234...the lowest he's seen. That's quite low. Our fluctuation is 238 -242.
