Joey and Johnny went to their new school, WYMLA, for boot camp today. Along with other stuff, they were supposed to learn how to tie a tie.This is a public school, but it's a magnet school with early college classes. It is an all boys school, and they have to wear khakis and polos most days with well dressed Wednesdays adding a white shirt and tie and even a blazar. I have high hopes that the boys will thrive at this school and graduate prepared for the "real" world. Johnny starts 7th and Joey 9th.
The boys have one more week of summer break before they start the school year. This will be our first year ever not on a track 4 year round schedule. We are going to miss our 3 weeks off in October.
At any point, today was a good test run with Ruby to see how the route, driving, traffic, etc. would go. Of course today is was 9-3 and the real school year times will be 7:20-2:05. We are all worried about having to get up at like 5:30 to get there on time.
Also went to my chiropractor and played some Pokemon Go today.
I ruined my blender by essentially trying to blend a whole ice cub frozen inside of it that was pina colada mix. Oh well. Donnie to the rescue with his drill to salvage the icy mix though.
