Ruby went back to Tesla Service today to follow-up on the issues she went in for last time. That is, the parts they needed came in, and they were ready to install them. They replaced several of the front parking sensors to correct the false object detection readings. They replaced the driver side falcon wing glass to correct an ugly seal. They also adjusted the falcon wing trim to stop a creaking noise. They replaced the trunk strut and adjusted some trim to stop the noise when opening/closing the trunk.
Unless the walk away lock-up problem returns, we're all set.
They gave us a white P100D Model X with 19" tires and ludicrous mode. Even had the red calipers. Tan and wood interior. Sweet car although I much prefer the color scheme we chose of course.
Johnny and I were going to head for Triangle Towne Center mall but decided not to. We headed home to see Don, get Joey, and play some more Pokemon Go raids.
We fought one raid on the way home and discovered level 2 chargers at Bob Barker. Johnny kept seeing Nissan Leafs going in and out of the parking deck and then walked over to check them out. There was also a Tesla Model S and a Volt.
We got Don to go back to the chargers with us, and we even charged Sporty Spice for a few minutes checking out the J1772 to Tesla converter. We found a charging rate similar to what we get overnight at home. Very sweet that this is available in Fuquay!
Johnny and I headed to my chiropractor appointment and then back to Tesla Service to pick up Ruby.
Back at home, we changed clothes and were right back out the door to taekwondo (TKD). Afterward, Johnny, Michelle, and I tried two more times to get a Moltres for Joey with no luck. Maybe tomorrow...
