Tuesday is shopping day, and today was no different. After I drop the boys off at school and swing home to have breakfast with Donnie, I head out to Guardian Angel Fuquay to meet Michelle. Typically we then head to Guardian Angel Apex and Whole Foods. This week, Michelle was only able to go to GA Fuquay; she had an appointment in the afternoon. I continued on by myself. I would always much rather have company...either Michelle, Johnny, or Don or even Joey if he's up to it. It didn't work out that way today, though. Pickings were rather slim at both GA stores. That happens sometimes. As the year nears to a close, folks will donate extra, and the first few weeks of the year will have awesome finds.
Whole Foods was full of merry shoppers and holiday baked goods. I have to look at the bakery case even if I don't buy.
Don ran, picked up the boys from school, and worked on his siding project some more. He was working on the highest section today. Glad he stayed safe.
The cats are doing a good job of leaving the Christmas tree alone or only playing with those low hanging plastic bulbs.
